Candles are warm and cozy, they smell great, and can practically tie an entire room together. But when lit, can be dangerous. We've put together some simple tips for preventing something serious from happening. Let's practice safe candle-burning, shall we?!!
-Always burn candles within sight, on a heat resistant surface and away from anything that can catch fire.
-Never leave a candle unattended.
-Keep away from children and pets.
-Burn in a draft free environment.
-Always remove all packaging completely prior to burning your candles. Check the bottom for stickers.
-Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings or other foreign debris that might present a fire hazard.
-Keep wicks trimmed to ¼".
-A flame too close to glass will cause it to shatter. If an off-center flame is causing the candle to burn unevenly, simply move the extinguished wick to the center with a metal spoon handle while the wax is still soft.Happy Thursday!
